Our vision
A world where the location of people and critical assets is known in real time, and that knowledge makes places safer, operations smarter, and decisions faster.
Rakana Technologies Denver, Colorado
Rakana is a holding company building a group of technology businesses across location systems, IoT implementation and location intelligence data — the technology that tells organizations where their critical assets are and what it means.

01 Purpose
A world where the location of people and critical assets is known in real time, and that knowledge makes places safer, operations smarter, and decisions faster.
To build, acquire and grow technology businesses that turn location into intelligence — starting in the environments where it is hardest to get right, and scaling what we learn there to every building that needs it.
The hardest environments are where the most durable technology is made.
02 Applied AI
We apply AI to our products to enhance their capability and performance. Just as deliberately, we apply it to the business itself — across every point where a customer works with Rakana, from the first conversation to long-term success.
In the product
AI that makes our systems more capable — in how they locate, how they alert, and how location data becomes insight people can act on.
Across the customer lifecycle
The Rakana test
Deliver more to our customers than they had before.
Make our products easier to use, and Rakana easier to work with.
Give time back to customers, partners and our own teams.
If AI isn't doing one of these — and isn't focused on the customer lifecycle — then, in our view, it isn't applied correctly.
03 What we do
Our businesses work together from sensor to insight. Each layer is valuable on its own. Together, they create the connected foundation and data to improve organizations.
Every location event is a data point. We turn continuous streams of position data into operational intelligence — workflow analytics, compliance reporting and the insight that helps organizations staff, respond and plan with confidence.
Design, integration and deployment of connected-device networks — from site survey and sensor architecture through to integration with existing security, building and operational systems. We make IoT work in real buildings, not just in the lab.
Real-time location systems engineered for complex architecture — dense, multi-level, high-security buildings where WiFi and generic tracking fall short. Precision positioning, staff safety and asset tracking where failure is not an option.
Actall Corporation04 Portfolio
Location Systems Since 1997
Actall designs and installs location systems for the places where accuracy is non-negotiable — correctional facilities, forensic and behavioral health, hospitals and education campuses. Its patented technology and the ACTALL ATLAS™ platform locate people and critical equipment in real time, without relying on a facility's WiFi network.

Rakana applies a common strategy to its businesses: technology development that solves the most critical challenges, a commitment to our customers to do what's right for them, and sharing success with dedicated channel partners.
Technology proven in secure, complex environments travels anywhere. The problems others avoid create the most defensible positions.
Every installation runs on an extensible platform. New sensors, integrations and markets are additions — not rebuilds.
Hardware finds the signal. Software and data create lasting value and deepen every customer relationship over time.
We build for decades, not quarters — growing businesses with the people, platforms and discipline to scale.
